Welcome, my name is Johanna Sanchez, a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of Healthy Hearts & Minds. I received my master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2015 and have been providing services in the mental health field since.

I’ve provided treatment in a variety of settings such as outpatient, community, online and crisis intervention centers. I specialize working with adolescents and adults who experience difficulties due to anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. I’ve worked with individuals who have experienced trauma, low-esteem, adjustment difficulties, life changing events and grief. I’ve also provided emergency intervention services for individuals in crisis and in high risk situations as well as support for families of people with mental illnesses.

I strongly believe that regardless of how mild or severe someone’s difficulties are, through therapy one can develop the skills necessary to overcome obstacles, make significant life changes and live a satisfying and successful life. My drive comes from truly believing that every individual deserves to be triumphant and experience the life they are eager to live.

Healthy Hearts & Minds’ vision is to simplify the process for obtaining specialized and affordable mental health treatment for people in search of therapy. Our mission is to create an online agency where individuals can easily be connected with a therapist that focuses on their specific areas of need at an affordable price. We thrive to provide accessible online treatment that is person centered and meets people where they are in the different areas of their life.
